A mum who helped her daughters recreate scenes from Disney films for their school's Easter egg decorating competition said it was "lovely" to see videos of their work go viral on social media.
Janeane Kearney spent two weeks working with eight-year-old Eva and Isla, 10, on their separate homages to Oscar-winning films Inside Out 2 and Up.
A version of the balloon house from Up, which floats up into the sky, wowed judges and won Isla first place.
"For the Up house, real eggs were used for the figures and polystyrene eggs for the balloons," said Janeane.
"We used cardboard boxes and cut them up to make the house from scratch using a picture off Disney to make it as realistic as possible."
Her TikTok video of their work received more than 170,000 views and more than 3,000 likes.
Eva missed out on first place with her take on Inside Out 2.
Eggside Out 2 featured hard-boiled egg versions of emotions including sadness and anxiety.
Eva was not too disappointed, though, because her creation was viewed by more than 130,000 people.
This definitely "helped soften the blow", said her mum, who added: "I did not expect the videos to get as many views as they have… it was also lovely to read people's comments."
The family are not novices in the art of egg-decorating competitions, having made other prize-winning designs over the years including adaptations of SpongeBob SquarePants and pop star Taylor "Taegg" Swift.
